Row New York - Adaptive Rowing Camps Print E-mail
Written by John Hamre
Row New York is gearing up for the summer months already, and they'd like to know if any kids are interested in getting on the water this summer.

Who:
Both boys and girls, ages 11-15 can learn to row!  We now are able to offer programming for adaptive athletes as well! We can take up to 32 people in one day.

What: It's free!
Kids will learn to row on and off the water, spend the day outside, get a workout, and compete in a boat race.  They will learn a new sport and reap the benefits of a fun, full body workout.  For more information on rowing and our year-round programming, please visit our website here:  http://www.rownewyork.org/

When:
Row New York offers 1 or 2 day summer camps for kids from June 27th - July 20th, Monday through Thursday from 10:30am - 12:15pm.

Where:
At Flushing Meadows Corona Park.  You can either bus directly to our boathouse (30 Meadow Lake Road), or you can take the 7 train to Willets Point/Citifield.

Please let me know if you're interested.
