The Youth Rangers Sled Hockey Team finished in 2nd Place for the Atlantic District Sled Hockey League this year with a record of 16 wins 3 loses and 1 tie for  total of 33 points. This was their best year ever. They led the league in goals scored with 97.  They also had a player who led the league in scoring as well, Connor Fee with 32 goals and 20 assists for a total of 52 points.

On Saturday March 12th & Sunday March 13th, 2011, the Youth Rangers played in the Districts in West Chester PA. On Saturday they beat the #3 seeded team 6 to 3 to advance to the Championship Game. On Sunday they played the Virtual Wings of Steel but lost 4 - 2 in a very exciting and competitive game.

Two of the Youth Rangers who have been playing since the team started 9 years ago and will be moving on to the Adult League.  We'd like to recognize and thank Bobby Repsha & Connor Fee and their families for all their dedication and hard work.  They truly made a difference by showing how to be a hard working and very competitve Adaptive Athletes and we look forward to seeing them play and compete for many years to come.

Wheelchair Sports Federation would also like to thank the NY Rangers Hockey Team for their continued sponsorship of the Youth Rangers and NY Rangers Adult Sled Hockey Teams.  They are a shinning example of how a professional franchise can impact the lives of Adaptive Athletes throughout the New York and New Jersey areas.
