Members of the Wheelchair Sports Federation squared off in a softball match with players from the Morris County Park Police and staff members from DAWN Center for Independent Living, during a recent game held at a Family Fun Day to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The event was held in June at Central park of Morris County in Morris Plains, which offers the community an all-access playground and fully accessible ball field. DAWNcil is a nonprofit agency headquartered in Denville NJ that assists individuals with disabilities living in Morris, Warren and Sussex counties. The event offered entertainment, refreshments and a variety of other family friendly activities throughout the day.  For more information about DAWNcil go to dawncil.org
