Local Man wins Silver at World Indoor Rowing Championships Print

Bill Schneider (NY) center in the picture, finished second and won a silver medal in the LTA-PD (Legs Trunks and Arms-Physically Disabled) category at the CRASH-B World Indoor Rowing Championships at Boston University on February 19th, 2012. There were 13 competors in the race, 46 adaptive rowers all together and 2,000 rowers overall. His time for 100 meter race was 3:38. The first place winner is a current member of the National Adaptive Rowing Team for the 2012 Paralympic Games.

Bill's goal is to qualify for an invitation to the National Adaptive Rowing Team by May 1st, by reducing his time to 3:20 for 100 meters.  Good luck Bill!
