Would you be interested in becoming a certified Reeve Foundation Peer Mentor at an upcoming virtual training?

Peer & Family Support Program

Burke Rehabilitation Hospital would like to invite you to our upcoming Reeve certified peer mentor training with the Reeve Foundation Peer & Family Support Program. Our peer mentors help people living with SCI, Paralysis and Neurological Disease and as well as their family members/caregivers by offering them support, guidance and information.  This training is also open to caregivers/family members of and healthcare professionals working with individuals in this population.  We encourage you also to attend if you have another diagnosis and are already mentoring, or looking to mentor, as this training is an excellent resource for you.

The training and certification process to become a Reeve certified peer mentor consists of submitting an application, attending a virtual peer mentor training and agreeing to a code of conduct and a background check.

The Peer & Family Support Program has scheduled a peer mentor training for Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017 at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital, 785 Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains, New York.  The training will be held from 11:45 AM to 4:30 PM.  Parking is ample and free at this location, which is also completely accessible.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding the location, please contact Alexandra Oudheusden at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
