I would like to take this opportunity to invite your team to participate in the NYC Mayor’s Cup Wheelchair Basketball Tournament in New York City on December 3-4, 2011.

2011 NYC MAYOR’S CUP WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT  

 


The 11th Annual NYC Mayor's Cup Wheelchair Basketball Tournament, the largest tournament of its kind in the Northeast, brings together the best wheelchair basketball teams from around the world to compete for the prestigious NYC Mayor's Cup. The NYC Mayor’s Cup will take place on December 3-4, 2011 at Manhattan College and Horace Mann High School in the Bronx.

 

Format

The NYC Mayor’s Cup will feature a double-elimination format that will guarantee that each team will play a minimum of three gamesEntries will be determined on a first-come basis based on when their entry fees are received.

 

 

Entry Fee

Entry fee for the tournament is $250; your team will not be officially registered until the tournament entry is paid in full. The deadline for all checks to be sent is November 11, 2011. Checks should be made out to the NYC & Company and should be sent to the following address:

The NYC Mayor's Cup is a series of sporting events crowning the Best in the City. Athletes of all ages and from across all five boroughs compete year-round to prove they're New York City's best at baseball, lacrosse, track & field, wheelchair basketball, chess, table tennis, cross country and wrestling.  In 2011, we have introduced new competitions in basketball, softball, soccer and cricket.
