If you have always wanted to take a swing at the game of golf … or learn how to help persons with disabilities learn the game, this clinic is for you.

The National Amputee Golf Association (NAGA) First Swing Seminar and Learn to Golf Clinic – the first program of its kind in the United States – is celebrating its 25th year of providing professional golf instruction to persons with disabilities.

This free program will teach individuals with disabilities the basics of golf and will educate therapists and golf professionals on how to instruct patients and clients in adaptive golf techniques.

This hands-on clinic will:

·         Introduce and review basic golf techniques to improve functional skills, such as range of motion      and balance.

·         Provide an opportunity for individuals to interact with others and participate in a life-long leisure activity.

·         Introduce special equipment, including golf clubs and adaptive accessories.
