2010 Wirtz Basketball Tournament RIC Hornets DIII DIII representative, The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago RIC Hornets would like to invite you to a two day 8 team tournament in Chicago. We are looking to host an 8 team pool play with tournament bracket to follow. Each team will be guaranteed 4 games. We will have two courts running simultaneously while having two ¾ courts as warm up areas before games. Location & Date: Curie High School located at 4959 South Archer Avenue, Chicago, IL 60632 1.5 miles from Midway Airport and 3 miles from the Marriot host hotel December 4th and 5th 2010 Food: The two day tournament will provide lunch for player’s coaches and volunteers. Registration Deadline: Please submit your roster and a check for $100 to RIC Sports located at 710 N. Lake Shore Drive 3rd floor Chicago, Il 60611. Registration Deadline will be November 1. Tournament Setup: 8 team pool play to set bracket for a championship Tournament registration will be registered once payment is received. Lodging: We are working on our group rates with the Marriot hotel of Midway. Teams that are flying in: please let me know ASAP if you are attending and flying as we will work with your team to accommodate as much as possible. There is accessible airport shuttle from Midway to the host hotel you need to call and schedule with them based on your flight reservation call 708-594-5500 to schedule your ride to the hotel. RIC will NOT be providing transportation from hotel to Gym. We will have 2 referees per game. If you have any additional questions please let me know.
