Final Rankings of the Division 3 Teams

On April 6, 2010 the Louis and Arde Bulova Nets Wheelchair Basketball Team took off to Denver Colorado to participate in the National Wheelchair Basketball Association National Championship Tournament.  The Bulova team was ranked 12th in the country and was the only team out of 5 teams from the Eastern Wheelchair Basketball Conference going into the tournament.

On April 7, 2010 at 8:00 am the Bulova team beat the Rancho Renegades ranked 11th in the country by a score of 35 to 28.  This was a tough game but the Bulova team pulled it out.  Next at 1:30 pm the Bulova team beat the Moraine Minutemen ranked 2nd in the country by a score of 51 to 40.  The team played so well that no one could believe that the team came in ranked 12th in the country.

The 3rd game of the day was at 7:00 pm the Bulova team was beaten by the RIM Detroit Diehard by a score of 67 to 43.  The team played a great first half by leading the Detroit team by 12 points. The second half was not as good for the team hit, after playing 2 and a half games the fatigue factor became a problem.  The team put forth a good effort.

On April 8, 2010 at 5:30 pm the Bulova team was beaten by the Richmond ranked 9th in the country by a score of 48 to 40.  This was a close game and the Richmond team won within the last minute of play.  The Bulova team down by 3 within a minute had to result in fouling the Richmond team with the hope they would miss free throws, but the determined Richmond team went 5 of 6 from the line and beat the Bulova team.
